Cookies & Tracking

Cookie Policy – AnonyModels.com

This page explains how we use cookies and other tracking technologies on the AnonyModels.com site, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Short version: we mainly use technical cookies to operate the site and a traffic measurement tool via Google Tag Manager. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet…) when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your device, to remember certain information (for example your preferences) or to collect browsing data for statistical purposes.

Other similar technologies may be used (pixels, localStorage, audience measurement scripts, etc.). In this policy, we group them under the generic term “cookies”.

2. What types of cookies do we use?

On AnonyModels.com, we mainly use the following categories of cookies:

  • Technical / strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function properly (display, navigation, basic security, remembering your consent choices). Without them, some features may not work correctly.
  • Audience measurement and performance cookies (via Google Tag Manager)
Subject to your consent, these cookies help us understand how the site is used (most visited pages, time spent, potential errors, etc.) in order to improve the experience and the content offered. The data collected is aggregated and does not identify you directly.
  • Advanced audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager)
Subject to your consent, Google Analytics may be activated to analyze traffic, sources of visits, interactions on pages and user journeys. The information collected is anonymized as much as possible and used exclusively to improve site performance and user experience.
  • Advertising and conversion cookies (Google Ads)
If you consent, Google Ads may deposit cookies to measure the effectiveness of campaigns (for example when a visit comes from an ad) and to optimise audiences. These cookies are only activated after your explicit agreement via the consent banner.

We do not place third-party advertising cookies intended to track you across sites for remarketing.

3. Simplified detail of cookies and trackers

As an indication, the cookies and trackers we may use include:

  • Internal operation cookies (for example an indicator to know if the cookie banner has already been shown and your choice recorded).
  • Audience measurement trackers via Google Tag Manager, likely to load analytical cookies if you allow them (for example technical identifiers to count visits and analyze site usage).

The exact list of cookies may evolve over time depending on technical adjustments and the tools used. We ensure these trackers remain proportionate to our needs and compliant with applicable regulations.

4. Consent banner and the user’s choices

On your first visit to AnonyModels.com, a banner appears at the bottom of the page to inform you about the use of cookies and to offer:

  • An “Accept” button which allows the deposit of non-essential cookies (including measurement cookies) in addition to strictly necessary cookies for the site's operation.
  • If you accept, services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads may be activated through Google Tag Manager and may place their own cookies for audience measurement or advertising.
  • A “Decline” button which refuses the deposit of non-essential cookies. In this case, you are redirected to another page (for example Google’s homepage) and only strictly necessary cookies remain active.

Your choice (acceptance or rejection) is remembered via a cookie or local storage on your browser. This prevents the banner from being shown again on subsequent visits as long as the validity period remains or you have not deleted your cookies.

5. Cookie retention period

Cookies are kept for a limited period, which varies by type:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: generally for the session duration, or a few months at most to remember preferences (such as your choice to “accept” or “decline” optional cookies).
  • Audience measurement cookies: in most cases, a retention period of 6 to 13 months, in line with regulatory guidance.

After these periods, cookies are automatically removed or anonymized. You can also delete them manually at any time via your browser settings.

6. How to manage or delete cookies?

You have several ways to manage cookies stored on your device:

  • Via the cookies banner on your first visit, by accepting or rejecting non-essential cookies.
  • Via your browser settings, where you can delete existing cookies and/or block new cookies. The steps vary by browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).

Warning: if you block all cookies, some site features may not work correctly or may be significantly degraded (for example, remembering your choices).

7. Third-party cookies and external tools

Some features or embedded content may come from third-party services (for example audience measurement tools, scripts loaded via Google Tag Manager, sharing buttons, etc.). These services may place their own cookies, subject to their respective privacy policies.

When you allow it, Google Tag Manager can load Google Analytics and/or Google Ads, which place their own audience measurement or conversion cookies. These services are provided by Google LLC and have separate privacy policies. In the absence of consent, none of these tools are activated.

We invite you to review directly the policies of the providers concerned for more details on how they process data.

8. Link with our Privacy Policy

Cookies can, in some cases, be associated with personal data (for example if you contact us and technical identifiers are linked to your actions). In that case, the processing of these data follows the rules described in our Privacy Policy.

We recommend reading this policy to understand, overall, how we process your information (applications, content, exchanges, etc.).

9. Contact and exercising your rights

For any questions about this cookie policy or, more broadly, about how we process your data, you can contact us at:

Email : contact@anonymodels.com

You have rights over your personal data (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, etc.) as described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

10. Update of this policy

This cookie policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws (notably regarding data protection and electronic communications).
